What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, SEAL Team stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, and Toni Trucks, with Justin Melnick, Tyler Grey, Scott Foxx, and Judd Lormand in recurring roles. The military action-adventure series centers on an exclusive Navy SEAL unit as they train for, plan, and risk their very lives to carry out perilous missions for the sake and honor of their country. Fierce and focused Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) leads the Tier One team. Despite the hardship it causes them and their families, this SEAL team is ready, willing, and able to embark upon secret missions at the drop of a hat. Team members include Jason’s trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Brown Jr.); loyal yet self-destructive Sonny Quinn (Buckley); and young Clay Spenser (Thieriot), a multilingual and second-generation SEAL. Others who are vital to the team’s success are no-nonsense Ensign Lisa Davis (Trucks) and troop commander Lt. Cdr. Eric Blackburn (Lormand).
Season Four Ratings
The fourth season of SEAL Team averaged a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.93 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by 27% in the demo and down by 20% in viewership. Find out how SEAL Team stacks up against other CBS TV shows.
SEAL Team has been renewed for a fifth season but, after four episodes, is moving to Paramount+. Season five debuts October 10, 2021. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Will CBS cancel or renew SEAL Team for season five? While this drama is typically a middle-of-the-road performer for the network, I’m leaning toward a renewal. I wouldn’t be shocked by a cancellation either though. The show is expensive to produce and isn’t as popular in international markets as procedural dramas, likely because it focuses on U.S. military storylines. Please boost your ratings look forward new season every episode never missed aired any episode of it. Such a great show. Miltary drama good character David Boreanaz best since Bones cop drama, Buffy vampire slayer horror syfy, Angel spin off. Great actor and worth watching.
Not to mention the fact CBS reneaa EVIL shows (paranormal) or viscous killing shows but cancels the good ones!!!
We LOVE seal team and for them to move it to Paramount plus means more money for people to put out to watch it. This show was one of the best shows on and we are NOT HAPPY!
Love this show! Seems like any show I really like gets cancelled. I hope CBS has a change in heart as I think it DOES help a lot of veterans and their families understand. Speaking as a Canadian veteran myself and as a spouse of a Canadian veteran.
Love this show, great story lines, well written but I WILL NOT PAY FOR YET ANOTHER!
I hate that you have to pay for TV. I don’t, never even had cable. Get rid of these stupid fake reality shows. Leave SEAL Team on regular TV.
Best show in a very long time. There’s nothing like it as you often bring it to the edge (and over occasionally). Please don’t make the misstake of cancelling it. I look forward to this show more than any other. I am paying to watch on Paramount. Now you can go back to Afghanistan, interven in India–China conflict, North Lorea and Ukraine-Russia.
We really like the show. One of our favorites. But will not be able to watch on Paramount +. No smart tv.
Disappointed.
Like it but not paying another monthly fee. Hopefully all my other shows will move to subscriptions and I’ll get some chores done
Yes I can’t wait for it to start again
First of all, Big thanks goes out to CBS to bless us with Seal Team seasons n 1-4. I happen to stumble upon Seal Team on Prime Video one night, and by far it has been the BEST TV show EVER! The series had bless me in so many ways, I was down & out, struggling with depression & self reflection & couldn’t shake the thoughts & emotions that I was going through, until I watched the series. Every character in the series had struggles & learned to deal with it! I’ve been trying my best to channel my triggers… Read more »
Don’t cancel it please!!!!!!!!!! I love this TV series. You can’t do that to us.
I hope cbs will rethink moving this show I have watched it from the beginning but can’t afford to pay for paramount +
Shame on CBS. We can’t afford to pay extra $ for a paid service like Paramount+. CBS does not care about viewers who watched and supported this show.
I have never watched the show before until I recently pulled it up on Prime Video. I really wish I would have watched it and picked up on it along time ago. It is an excellent program!!
