What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Paramount+ subscription service, the SEAL Team TV show stars David Boreanaz, Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., AJ Buckley, and Toni Trucks. The military action-adventure series centers on an exclusive Navy SEAL unit as they train for, plan, and risk their very lives to carry out perilous missions for the sake and honor of their country. Fierce and focused Jason Hayes (Boreanaz) leads the Tier One team. Despite the hardship it causes them and their families, this SEAL team is ready, willing, and able to embark upon secret missions at the drop of a hat. Team members include Jason’s trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Brown Jr.); loyal yet self-destructive Sonny Quinn (Buckley); and young Clay Spenser (Thieriot), a multilingual and second-generation SEAL. No-nonsense DEVGRU Intelligence Officer Lisa Davis (Trucks) is assigned primarily to Bravo Team.
Season Five Ratings
On CBS during the 2021-22 season, the first four episodes of the fifth season of SEAL Team averaged a 0.39 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 19% in the demo and down by 12% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
On CBS during the 2023-24 season, the remaining episodes of the fifth season of SEAL Team averaged a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.55 million viewers. Compared to season four, (which aired back in 2020 and 2021), that’s down by 72% in the demo and down by 60% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (including DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. Find out how SEAL Team stacks up against other CBS TV shows.

Telly’s Take
SEAL Team drew low ratings in its fourth and final season on CBS and my understanding is that it was set to be cancelled. Instead, the execs renewed SEAL Team as an exclusive on Paramount+. It performed well enough on the streamer to be renewed for two more years. Season seven is the end. I don’t expect CBS to keep airing the series but, you never know. If not RENEWED for additional Seasons; Be as loyal to your VIEWERS as your viewers have been to YOU! PREPARE at least (2) EPISODES to FINALIZE the Show, and give your LOYAL VIEWERS PROPER and RESPECTFUL CLOSURE!
We only subscribed to Paramount to watch Seal Team. It would be cery dusappointing if Seal Team were dropped as we would likly cancel Paramount.
First off let me say I’m hoping and praying that Seal Team is renewed. It’s a great show, one of the best on TV. Paramount + has a lot of great programming but Seal Team is the reason I subscribed when it was removed from CBS. This finale was excellent as a season finale but a horrible decision if it’s a series finale. I sincerely hope Seal Team is renewed for season 6 and that this heart-wrenching cliff hanger is not the end all leaving fans to wonder what would have been. This is the reason I keep paramount + as a subscription even if I’m a Va Beach native and wish it was filmed on location or that they fact checked deets a bit better. Thrilled to hear a Pungo shout out. Bring Seal Team back for season 6 & then some!

Please give us loyal Seal Team followers a season 6 . I love this show and have watched from day one . Don’t leave us hanging .
Surely Paramount won’t leave us hanging! If not a season 6, at least an extra episode to end the series more upbeat and with more finality than was left at the end of season 5.
It’s really a lazy way out to just leave the fate of Bravo Team dangling. If that’s the case, for shame!

You’re missing out. This show is much more intense and real on stream.
Loyal seal team viewers until show went to Paramount Plus. We purchased Paramount plus in December and haven’t been able to view the show due to buffering or error issues. If Steal Team looses viewers it will be because viewer are frustrated with Paramount Plus and canceling. Customer service is very bad and when a paying customer needs to be on hold for 45 minutes to report issues it gets very frustrating. I hope the actors read the many disappointed comments under the paramount plus Facebook comments.
I have had no problems whatsoever with Paramount+. It could be your provider. I just hope the show continues. If Seal Team is not renewed, I may cancel at least temporarily.

I Love SEAL TEAM! I truly hope they renew it for a sixth (6th) season, kif not more! I Hate that the ratings seem to care most about the age range of 18 -29.
Some say it’s 18-49, but I don’t believe it! Too many Good shows have gotten cancelled in the past, far too soon because of that slanted age range. Let’s NOT let SEAL TEAM be one of them!!!
Apparently the ratings are solid right now. I hope that’s good enough to keep the show going.

Love Seal Team. Did a total marathon for Seal Team so much girlfriend could watch them totally. Thanks Paramount Plus.
I want the show to continue without Boraz. Use the younger team members and focus more on missions NOT relationships. This should be a high action show not a drama based on family life at home.
Don’t agree. I would like more action too, but David B. is the mainstay of that show and I’d like him to stay in some capacity. But Clay is going to be gone and who knows who else after the last scene of episode 14. Will be interesting to see, but I will be really bummed if the powers-that-be leave Bravo Team hanging.

CLAY is making one of the BIGGEST MISTAKES OF HIS LIFE/CAREER! He may very well leave Bravo; but he WILL REGRET HIS DECISION. I fear he will also RESENT HIS WIFE AND SON… in the end. HE’S A SOLDIER! HE’S A WARRIOR! I know he wants to be there for his FAMILY. And he will! But you cant just “CUT THE CHORD” …when you’ve grown to be a BRAVO TEAM MEMBER like him. He’s set to be the NEXT BRAVO #2 under RAY’S LEADERSHIP! (just looking ahead…lol!)
