What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, The Good Doctor TV show stars Freddie Highmore, Antonia Thomas, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff, Christina Chang, Fiona Gubelmann, Will Yun Lee, and Paige Spara. The series revolves around Shaun Murphy (Highmore), a young autistic savant who’s a surgical resident at the fictional San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Alone in the world and unable to personally connect with those around him, Shaun uses his extraordinary medical gifts to save lives. He also challenges the skepticism of his colleagues like Dr. Claire Browne (Thomas), Dr. Marcus Andrews (Harper), Dr. Morgan Reznick (Gubelmann), Dr. Alex Park (Lee), Dr. Audrey Lim (Chang), and Shaun’s mentor, Dr. Aaron Glassman (Schiff). Lea Dilallo (Spara) is Shaun’s friend and sometime love interest.
Season Four Ratings

The good doctor encourages those intelligent people with disabilities that they an still do anything if they commit to learning. I love the program and believe it should stay on.

I would have been very upset. This is the type of entertainment that our country needs.
The writers have turned Dr. Sean Murphy from a good doctor into a mediocre doctor at best. He used to be almost a savant when diagnosing a patient but now he barely pays any attention to the patient. He just stands around thinking and daydreaming about Leah while the other doctors do the work. Getting rid of Dr. Melendez was a big mistake.The Good Doctor used to be a great show but now it is not worth watching.
What are ratings based upon these days? I’m in Australia, love this show and STREAM everything I watch which is generally available on free to air! Meaning I don’t watch when it’s actually on but stream at my convenience with a lot less ads! Nielsen ratings are surely outdated today! Everybody streams! Is that taken into account? As well as international viewers? Yes, I definitely want a season 5!!!

DEFINITELY continue show. Not only does it offer real life situations, aspects of making medical decisions, but helps the general population better understand ATD. Love the program!
It definitely should be cancelled, there’s no point in pushing this any forward after what had happened in 3×20. Such a disrespect to Nick, Neil and the viewers wou’d invested so much in this character. Shore has an erred view of what makes a show successful, killing off a leading character, who had so much to offer, definitely doesn’t.

The Good Doctor is one of, if not the BEST, dramatic Hospital show on TV! It is too Realistic in nature to ever be Cancelled!! The acting is Suberb, especially with Freddie Highmore in the Leading Role!!!…
