TV show description:
From creator and star, Seth MacFarlane, The Orville TV show is a live-action space adventure, set 400 years in the future. The story centers on the crew of a mid-level exploratory spaceship, The U.S.S. Orville.
In 2417, Ed Mercer (MacFarlane) is promoted to captain the Orville, with the assistance of First Officer Kelly Grayson (Palicki). Unfortunately, she’s his ex-wife, and her presence acts as a bridle on his enthusiasm.
Dr. Claire Finn (Jerald); helmsman Gordon Malloy (Grimes); Lt. Commander Bortus (Macon); his mate, Klyden (Coleman); security officer Alara Kitan (Sage); navigator John LaMarr (Lee); and A.I. life-form Isaac (Jackson) round out the crew. Whether facing off with the Krill, a dangerous alien race, or attempting rescues on behalf of the Planetary Union, these humans and aliens still must deal with their mundane issues and each other.

Fun series for a chance given the crud this year. Characters grow on you and the writing is solid. The fresh mock sci-fi setting helps too. Keep it.
Great show. Most original Sci-Fi fusion with humor ever. Great cast and direction. This one is a winner. Explores the characters and very interesting crew.
This show needs to be renewed. I enjoy the comedy and science fiction, and all of the characters/actors on the show. Please renew and get it back on air soon!
Another season by all means. Thought the first few episodes were so dumb they were funny. I was always chuckling. Then the episodes settled down and got more serious sci-fi. Still has a sprinkling of jokes and gags though they now seem a bit incongruous sometimes. In the end, it’s entertaining. And I thought Majority Rule was great in our increasingly over-heated social media world.
I love this show! And can not see when the Season 2 episode 1 is on!

the series should keep going. the show is well written and the actors are great. they are able to tell a good entertaining story with off the wall humor that is not gross humor, its just great. we look forward to the next season.

The series is interesting and innovative it’s a cross between Star Trek and Galaxy Quest I wouldn’t have thought that anyone could pull it off but they’re certainly doing it . Finally ! A new show that is funny , and give glimpses of different characters in each new episode – the Norm as the green blob is hilarious !! And the robot does a great job trying to understand ” humans ” – every week has a new SUPRISE ! Keep it going ! Please
This is a fantastic union of serious Sci-Fi & ever Seth MacFarlane creates! Covers the gamut of emotions and entertains every episode. FOX has made some bad judgement calls in the past, not allowing this program to continue might just be its worst to date.
