What’s This TV Show About?
A Netflix sci-fi mystery, Travelers stars Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abrahamson, Reilly Dolman, Patrick Gilmore, J. Alex Brinson, Leah Cairns, and Jennifer Spence. The drama unfolds in a post-apocalyptic future, in which special operatives known as “travelers” go back in time to save humanity from destruction. Unlike much time-travel fiction, there is no time machine involved. Instead, a traveler transfers his or her consciousness into the body of “target” just prior to that person’s death, then uses the person’s identity as a cover, while carrying out secret missions.
As of February 1, 2019, Travelers has been cancelled, so there won’t be a fourth season. Could it return someday? Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew Travelers for season four. Flying blind, I think it will be renewed. Although the series started out as a co-production between Canada’s Showcase and Netflix, as of season three, it is solely a Netflix TV series. I would have expected them to announce this season as the third and final season if they were ready to end it. I hope it’s renewed! I love it! I started the series over when season 3 came out so my husband could watch with me. I love watching seasons 1 and 2 just as much as the first time. I also didn’t want to binge, but it wasn’t possible. Season 3 was awesome. I loved the ending, so i’m going to need some answers about that! Lol

I tried to not binge watch Travelers Season 3, as soon as it became available. But that is like asking me not to breathe! This show is addictive and so interesting and exciting that I couldn’t help myself. Please give us another season of Travelers!
I hope there is a season four. Really it would be a whole new opportunities to change plot a bit.

Love Travelers. Have just watched all of Seasons 3. Such a creative show. I hope there will be more. I turned my 24 year old son onto the show and a good friend you enjoys sci-fi and they are hooked too.
PLEASE RENEW…My whole family across the U.S. loves this show. After binge watching season 3, I am worried that Netflix will cancel, but I’m holding out hope that they will not go the way of our mainstream U.S. networks cancelling really good sci-fi shows like this and keeping shows that have no thought behind them. Several of my favs have already been cancelled (Sense8 one of my all time favs) and if this keeps up, I’m not sure I will continue the Netflix service. I just finished the 3 season and I think it’s not be renewed if the series not delivered rates, but anyways the end kinda reset everything and could be a end or a reboot if they produced another season.

it’s one of my favorite time travel shows of all time. i do hope that we get seasons 4 and 5 at least.

First time I saw my email mentioned Netflix released season 3 of Travellers, I stopped watching other series like Supernatural and binged watched the entire 3rd season in a day. I am glad to see another great season, story, and how characters faced new obstacles. The season kept getting better, so it’s something definitely worth watching. Now, I really don’t know if there is a season 4 and I’m going to be keeping an eye if there’s a release or not, because I would like to see more. Travelers is brilliant, exciting, interesting as well as an emotional show – Season 3 emotional – I cried like a baby! Bravo Netflix – one of the best sci-fi time travel shows ever! I was a die-hard fan of Fringe, 12 Monkeys (not movie the TV series on SY-FY) and I love the Netflix time travel show “Dark” – awaiting season 2 of that! SO PLEASE continue your great work with a season 4 of Travelers – I will be truly disappointed with Netflix if they cancel Travelers. Season 3 is left open ended with several options to move forward!
I LOVED 12 Monkeys, the SYF show, as well! I miss it! But Travelers is a good replacement to get my fix of time travel!
