What’s This TV Show About?
A Netflix neo-noir “social thriller” anthology, the first season of What/If stars Renée Zellweger, Jane Levy, Blake Jenner, Keith Powers, Samantha Ware, Juan Castrano, Dave Annable, Saamer Usmani, Daniella Pineda, John Clarence, and Louis Herthum. Centering on San Francisco venture capitalist Anne Montgomery (Zellweger), who makes a suspicious offer to struggling newlyweds Lisa Ruiz-Donovan (Levy) and Sean Donovan (Jenner), the drama explores what happens when acceptable people do the unacceptable.

Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Netflix will cancel or renew What/If for season two. Usually, if Netflix is going to renew a series, they usually pick up the new season within a month or so of the release date. With an anthology, Netflix will have take into consideration the new cast and potential storyline, before making their call. I Love this Show. “What/if” is a great show. I truly believe that the reasoning behind the low ratings isn’t the quality of show, But the lack of promotion. How can you watch a tv show you dont know exist?
I hope season 2 comes out sooner rather than later. The waiting time between seasons is too long for ALL shows. There’s so many to watch and by the time the new season comes around, I’ve lost interest. This worked in the 70’s but there’s so much competition between networks and so many choices now.
Season 2 of What/If needs to happen! As it’s an anthology, I’d love to see a new tale of this show! It has the potential. I read the creator wants to bring the same cast back in different roles… This would be amazing! Especially if Renée Zellweger come back for another round as the lead. Netflix just needs to hurry up and renew it, if it got cancelled it would be a huge waste!

I’m hooked!!! Have been thinking on canceling and switching to Hulu, Netflix has been drying up, the only thing my husband likes to watch is the Ranch & kids watch reruns but going to give The Witching a try & if they keep this I’ll stay.
Definitely bring back What/If , better than most series out there, Renee Zellweger is awsome to say the least !!!!
