How magical do you find Mel, Maggie, and Macy during the first season of the Charmed TV show on The CW? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Charmed is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the Charmed season one episodes. **Status update below.
A CW fantasy drama, Charmed stars Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Madeleine Mantock, Ser’Darius Blai, Ellen Tamaki, and Rupert Evans. The supernatural series centers on three sisters who discovery they have special abilities in the wake of their mother’s murder. Now the “Charmed Ones” must harness “The Power of Three” to protect humanity from the demons that prowl the earth.

PLEASE get rid of this horrid show! It can’t even hold a candle to the REAL Charmed!! If you wanted to reboot the series, it would have been MUCH wiser to have the original cast and picked up where their kids are demon hunting! Hasn’t anybody learned anything from trying this kind of ploy!?! We loyal fans to the TRUE Charmed series should be heard!!
Really. I don’t get why people are hating on this. I’ve been an avid fan of Charmed ever since it started, ended, and the thing that the show at it’s fundamental core as a concept was to have an open mind and be more understanding– Be it family, friends, or a ‘remake’. This is the thing people are conveniently forgetting about the whole thing; IT’S. A. REMAKE. It’s not the old Charmed. They can’t use the old cast of the old Charmed. It’s awful. I wont.be watching it. Reboot it withe real charmed ones, their kids…have cameos with piper and pheobe and so many others! That would be great. C’mon writers, producers and all you creative folk. Dump tbis one and reboot the originals. That I’d watch.
I cannot believe that this show has not just cancelled outright..
Who signed off on this crap idea ?…they honestly thought adding a young cast would automatically save this travesty of a copied idea. They wanted to ‘refresh’ (recycle) a show that was great already.
Please do not make any more of these please cancel this show. It doesn’t follow on from original it doesn’t have the same principles as the original. The whole show is honestly just not relatable.
There should be a season 2 of the charmed reboot
When this show started, I was skeptical since I was a huge original Charmed fan and for me, I didn’t think anything could live up to the original. So I didn’t even want to give this show a chance, but I did. The first couple episodes were meh… nothing special but nothing horrifyingly ridiculous, but I loved the actress playing Mel. So I said I would give it until the Christmas break, and now I’m kind of hooked, especially after the last 3 episodes. Please get rid of this!! Its terrible. 90% of the Charmed fans want it gone. Do us all a favor. Or change the name entirely!
I’m a charmed fan and an old school one I love the new one it’s amazing and creative being it on quick
I loved the Original Charmed and still frequently watch the dvds and re-runs all the time. For me this “new” charmed should have been re-named and not marketed as a reboot. I and many other fans would probably have been more willing to give it a chance. I have watched all 9 episodes so far and the only thing i actually liked was when Mel had to give up Niko. I much prefer the origional charmed, the bond between the new sisters isn’t there in the new charmed the new show is rubbish why couldn’t they have carried on with the halliwell line this show deserves to be canceld as the only one in the reboot that can act is the white lighter
I said exactly the same as you down to the word but I’ve slowly grown to it give it another watch it’s creative and quite good. X
I really didn’t like the fact that they changed so many basic things about the series like the sisters being raised together by their grandmother after their mothers death when they were children. that they changed how they got their powers and found out they were witches and then the change was kind of stupid. that hey changed one of their powers to supposedly telepathy but they can’t make up their minds on whether it’s telepathy or empathy. also that they changed how whitelighters orb they are called whitelighters for a reason they disappear in white lights. Hope they cancel this very bad remake
This reboot has none of the charm of the original Charmed TV series which premiered in 1998. Would have preferred seeing the children of the Halliwell sisters in a Charmed continuation series with guest appearances from the actresses who played the Halliwell sisters. There so many plot holes in the reboot that haven’t been explained. Why all the different fathers? Who killed their Mother? And why does their white lighter sound like Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer? He reminds me more of a wizard from Harry Potter than a white lighter. Wait why is this show called ‘Charmed’? This is not ‘Charmed’, why didn’t they call it something else ?
Honestly this is laughable how CW thought this was even remotely acceptable to copy a show like this. Why dont they just call this show ‘Bewitched’ while they’re at it. See if they can trick a few more of the fandom.
Although I am a huge fan of the original Charmed. I do really enjoy the new charmed. I do wish the story would have been a little more different than original, the original is always best, but it is still a great show.I really enjoy the diversity that has been introduced in this series.
