What do you think? Do you still like General Hospital TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for additional seasons?
I have been watching GH since I was 11 years old…and that was a very long time ago. It’s interesting that the ratings only choose the ratings for women 18-49 years old. I was in the Air Force overseas, and I watched the show with all men during my lunch hour. I record this every day–and when it was pre-empted during the impeachment hearings–or during the COVID19 updates–it’s like withdrawal to me. This is my family. I look forward to watching every day after I get home from work (and now–after I stop teleworking since I’m quarantined). GH has been… Read more »
It’s so strange I just posted my comment and I find yours to be so similar. I agree with everything you said (except for not being in the service). And I too am blown away by now they’re handling Mike’s Alzheimer’s. And I find they deal with all kinds of issues like being a burn victim, mental illness, addiction and alcoholism,And on and on
Been watching GH since the very first episode. Please do not take the show off because of the pandemic. It is not the fault of many people’s favorite soap opera. Please do not cancel General Hospital. Please.
I love this show, I am not by any means a person who has watched since it started but my mother and sister have been watching for a very very long time and I started watching about 5 years ago and I absolutly love the show and the actors who betray the people of Port Charles. It is what helps keep me sane during this pandemic to have something I love to watch and take a break everyday to see. Before this virus I still wat had daily but now with all this pandemic and quarantine it helps to have… Read more »
Don’t stop GH. But stop filming the kids interaction . Boring.
Don’t cancel general hospital. ABC soaps were the best. We’ve already list All my children and one life to live. Don’t take this one to. It’s really just now getting good again.
Do not cancel General Hospital. It is the best soap on tv. Look forward to watching it every day.
Please don’t take General Hospital off the air I have been watching it since 1979 when I was four with my grandmother but I’m not able to watch because I’m working I DVR it to watch later I go to all the fan events ,I feel like with all the flashbacks it may be coming to an end
can we find out when the snake will be off the show there is a number of us not liking the shock value? Love the show and have been watching it from early 1970
General Hospital is the one show that can consistently keep me grounded and give me solace when I’ve had a bad day. When I am stressed and feeling all alone, watching GH always helps to make things better. I know it is just a TV show, but over the years, the characters have become the next best thing to family…something I no longer have. So, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don’t take this show away from me…not now…not ever.
I share your sentiments! So much! Wow…your comments nearly mirror mine. So many of us feel like the characters are our “family”–especially when we are isolated from everyone.
Would really miss it

Love GH – been watching since the beginning. Would hate to see it end. Great stories & wonderful actors.
General Hospital has had its ups and downs with story lines over the years, but it still is the best !! The characters and actors are so ingrained with us that we do not want them to go away.!! At this time with the virus, old friends are comforting. I love GH!
Please don’t cancel General Hospital. I’ve been watching it since 1968. I look forward to watching it everyday and seeing all of my favorite characters.
