Jim Parsons is branching out behind the scenes at CBS. Variety reports the Big Bang Theory star is developing a new series for the network called Lance 2.0. 

From Alex McAulay, the single-camera comedy “centers around a young couple that deals with the aftermath when the boyfriend has an accident that changes his personality and causes him to lose his impulse control.”

McAulay is executive producing the project at Warner Bros. Television alongside Parsons and Todd Spiewak.
