The team might get another trip in the Lifeboat. After NBC cancelled their Timeless TV show, yesterday, creators Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan indicated that Sony will like shop season two of the time travel drama around.
Kripke and Ryan weren’t the only Timeless vets responding to the cancellation on social media. Stars Matt Lanter, Abigail Spencer, and Malcolm Barrett also shared their thoughts about Timeless being cancelled after one season on NBC. The series also stars Goran Visnjic, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit.

1. Learned a lot about TV biz in last few days. A lot of things to argue for a #Timeless renewal but $$$ flows in mysterious ways in tv now.

While it sounds like there is a chance at renewal, they don’t sound overly optimistic. Meanwhile, Lantner and Spencer tried to keep positive in their responses to the cancellation.

The first season of Timeless averaged a 1.10 rating in the 18-49 demographic and drew an average total audience of 4.62 million viewers. Those numbers could still be appealing to a smaller network or streaming service.

Watched every episode with the computer in front of me to check the facts. Wouldn’t have decided to see “Hidden Figures” if not for “Timeless”.

Loved this show .. it’s how I learned about the women of NASA before hidden Figures came out.
I loved this show. Was one of the few I watched. I hope they find a new home for it. There is so much useless garbage they keep on tv. This show was interesting and downright fun.
I am devastated they cancelled Timeless. I will support any channel that would renew it! I will no longer be watching NBC.
Really enjoy the show. Everyone gets a history lesson as well. Find it very interesting as well as entertaining. Give it another chance. It’s a shame that so many great shows are not returning because they are rated by live viewing. In this crazy world people don’t have time to sit down and actually watch a show when it airs. Perhaps all your polls should include a question about how many people record shows from all these networks. I know networks need sponsers, but the dvr is here to stay. You need to include it in your statistics.
So would love to watch this show on any other network or streaming service that picks it up. My husband and I enjoyed this show so much and talked about it all the time. The Monday night time slot was impossible for me…I go to bed because I am a mom of four young boys. I can only DVR! I think if it had a few more seasons word of mouth would spread it even more. I really really LOVED this show!!!!!!!! I’m really upset that its been cancelled!! Ugh!! Love all the Actors and Actresses on this! It makes me very sad 🙁

I meant to write: very appealing time to have a show. Can you please correct it?
My husband and I never missed an episode of this very feeling time travel show. There is great chemistry among the three stars, And the plot never seemed predictable. Along with the adventures, the shows addressed historical issues that are very relevant today: racism, sexism, right wing extremism. If another network is smart enough to pick it up and make Timeless its own, we will follow it! If it only has a little more time for the audience to find it, I think it could be a success.

How disappointing. Great show. I know it is expensive to make, but so worth it.
I would watch it no matter where it went. It is smart, funny and has an actual plot. So tired of reality tv. My question is why doesnt the network keep it? Give it another chance.
