The Walking Dead will return to AMC with its seventh season next month, and the AMC president sees a long future beyond season seven for the zombie drama.
Josh Sapan spoke about the future of the series at an event on Wednesday, and he thinks that The Walking Dead “has incredible long life left in it.” In fact, he thinks that The Walking Dead franchise, which includes Fear the Walking Dead, could be seen for many years to come.
Sapan went on to compare The Walking Dead to another popular franchise, Star Trek. That franchise will return with a new series next year.
