How do you solve a murder in a future with no death? That’s the crux of Netflix’s newly ordered sci-fi series, Altered Carbon, according to Deadline.
The series is based off Richard Morgan’s 2002 novel of the same name.
Set in the 25th century, Altered Carbon follows an imprisoned warrior who is sent into a future where souls can be digitally transferred from one body to another. There, he attempts to solve a murder despite living in a time when death is a thing of the past.
Laeta Kalogridis, who has worked on Avatar and Shutter Island, will be writing and executive producing the series. Netflix has ordered 10 episodes.
What do you think? Have you read Altered Carbon? Would you watch the series?
