A drama series, the Fire Country TV show stars Max Thieriot, Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway, and Jules Latimer. In the story, Bode Donovan (Thieriot) is a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence. He joins a prison release firefighting program in Northern California. and it’s a high-risk, high-reward assignment. Bode is unwittingly assigned to Three Rock Con Camp, which is located in his small hometown of Edgewater. That’s where he was once a golden all-American son and also where his troubles began. Five years ago, Bode burned down everything in his life and left town with a big secret. Now he’s back, with the rap sheet of a criminal and hoping for a chance at redemption.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
5/20 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the final national ratings, including all live+same day viewing and DVR playback (through 3:00 AM). Early fast affiliate ratings (estimates) are indicated with an “*”. While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but typically the higher-rated series are renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled.
What do you think? Do you like the Fire Country TV series on CBS? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
*1/7/2023 update: Fire Country has been renewed for a second season by CBS.
I agree with James, the main character Bode, the writers should have had Bode tell his lawyer that he was being black mailed and not to tare the people’s hearts out that loved him, what is wrong with these writers. You need to replace these writers for the next season, but now it’s messed up. And I can’t be leave when your doing a survey comparing two shows together which one is the best if you have more than one you should be able to pick it. Because you put fire country against the Chicago shows and they’re both super… Read more »
How much dumber does a show need to get? It is so tedious and painful to watch Bode play the martyr and make the dumb decisions to disappoint everyone in his life and sabotage his chance for parole just so his friend, Freddy’s release is not delayed. The show seriously needs good writers.
who wrote the finale ?? AI ? The writers suck, 5th graders can do better than this, it’s like someone told them this is getting renewed, do something so stupid that we can create a cliffhanger
The finale was such a disappointment. How many times did the character of Bodie Leone need to be a martyr. So sad I spent the entire season watching this and it was solely let down by that finale. I’m never wrote this episode you suck. I’m just so disappointed
At first I liked it, but then all the characters became stupid all at once and it seemed like Mom didn’t want her kids kidney, areal person says she is foolish, Dad is a hardnose just to be a hard nose and the “player” is trying to get back in good graces and sorry too much has happened, forgiveness, yes forget no!
Show sucks
Fire Country avoided any political statements until last week’s show. We had the usual cliches about developers and the activists in the Tree Hugger movement. The best part was the stupid one attached to the tree. Of course, the evil developer “saw the light” by the end of the show. Ugh.
I do not understand how this “fire of the week” show has grown legs and is taking off. I have watched maybe three episodes and I am sorry. I just don’t get it. I realize this takes place in California, but come on three maybe five fires a day? The plot and storylines are thin. Really?
I agree w/ “Murph74” and “Stacy” 100%..the show is a big disappointment!! Max should have stayed with “Seal Team” which was and is a great show!!) “Fire Country” not worth the money–in my opinion it should not be renewed unless “they get new writers /producers.
Tommy: I agree Max should have stayed with Seal Team which is one of the best shows on TV. Something needs to be done to make the second season a success.
