It’s been a good day for DC Comics-inspired TV shows. NBC has picked up Constantine and The CW, the network which airs Arrow, has ordered both The Flash and iZombie. The latter is based on a horror comic of the same name that ran for 28 issues, between 2010 and 2012.
The cast for the live-action series includes Alexandra Krosney, David Anders, Malcolm Goodwin, Nora Dunn, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley, and Rose McIver.
Here’s the network description:
iZOMBIE – A med student-turned-zombie takes a job in the coroner’s office to gain access to the brains she must reluctantly eat to maintain her humanity, but with each brain she consumes, she inherits the corpse’s memories. With the help of her medical examiner boss and a police detective, she solves homicide cases in order to quiet the disturbing voices in her head.
No word on how many episodes have been ordered or when the series will start airing. We should know more in the coming week.
What do you think? Does this show sound like a hit or a flop? Will you check it out?
