What do you think? Did you enjoy The Kids Are Alright TV show? Would you have watched season two of this ABC comedy series?
I loved that show it was funny and as someone who was a teenager during the time frame the show took place I could really relate. It’s a real shame its not being renewed. I guess If a show is not lewd in anyway it doesn’t have a chance.
This was an AWESOME show! A dose of reality each week. Just great entertainment that doesn’t need cursing, sex, nudity, or violence. ABC sure makes some strange choices in what the viewers find entertaining (this show and Last Man Standing?) Only two shows left on ABC for my family to watch – suppose they’ll be cancelled next year. As some reviewers said, hopefully Fox or Netflix will pick up where ABC dropped the ball, again.
Why would ABC cancel such an entertaining program
I guess if it doesn’t have blood and guts it just doesn’t score. What a disappointment we really looked forward to Tuesdays.
This was an awesome show and was the only thing on ABC worth watching. Hopefully, other station or Netflix will pick this gem up.
This show is fantastic! Hopefully Fox or Netflix will consider picking it up. I am also hoping the first season will be released on DVD. Thank you Tim Doyle for such a wonderful show! The cast is fantastic!!
The show was hilarious. Would be a great fit for Netflix to restart
So sorry to hear The Kids are Alright has been cancelled. I loved that show! The writing and acting were heads and shoulders above most of the comedies on now. I hope ABC reconsiders.
I really enjoyed this show and I am shocked that it is cancelled. You don’t have to be Catholic to love this one.
The cynical mom is arefreshing change. Netflix where are you?
I loved the show. It’s hard to find a comedy that’s funny and leaves politics at the door.
Huge mistake abc! This show is laugh out loud funny to those of us who we’re kids in the 70’s as well as our own kids. My teenagers and I actually sit together on the couch to watch this show. So many conversations between us have been started due to the issues that are portrayed in this show. I am very disappointed in abc. Wake up abc!!
Highly disappointed with the cancellation of The Kids Are Alright. Someone, or more than one someone, made a very bad call. Everything else I have to say about this decision would just get this comment removed, so i’ll stop there.
I can’t believe this great show has been canceled.
Love the mom! Dad & kids are wonderful. Show
us laugh every week. What a big disappointment
it is that we will not see it anymore. Please reconsider.
Once in a while a funny refreshing comedy comes along and now after just one season it’s canceled. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about the show; the actors , the screenwriting, and the lovability of the whole family. When will these networks wake up and realize when they have a great show? The Kids are Alright should stay!!!
Disappointed to hear that The Kids Are Alright has been cancelled. Really enjoyed watching that show. Would have watched a second season
Not many shows make me laugh out loud, but this one does. What happened to networks actually TRYING to help a viable program succeed? Different time slot? More than ONE season to acquire a following? Cancelling this is a mistake.
