TV show description:
Nathan Ford (Timothy Hutton) was once a loyal fraud investigator for IYS Insurance. His point of view changed when the insurance company refused to pay for an experimental treatment that could have saved his young son. Because of his intricate knowledge of scams, Nathan’s recruited by Victor Dubenich to join a team of talented criminals to “steal back” aeronautical plans that were supposedly stolen by a competitor.
When the job is completed, Dubenich tries to double-cross the team and unsuccessfully tries to blow them up. The group decides to run a con on their former employer and Dubenich ends up ruined and arrested by the FBI. When the team is done, they form Leverage Consulting & Associates and start to help everyday people who’ve been ripped off by corrupt corporations and government agencies.
Among Nathan’s colleagues is Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman), a con-woman who uses her acting skills for art thievery. Ironically, though she’s very successful as an actress for the team’s scams, she has little success as a legitimate performer.
Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane) is a highly-skilled martial artist who is also a weapons and retrieval expert. He shows great proficiency with guns, yet despises them.
Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) is a computer hacker extraordinaire and a gadget guru. A self-proclaimed geek, he also has a penchant for science fiction. Parker (Beth Riesgraf) doesn’t have a known first name, and is a thief, cat burglar, and explosives expert. She also has an unnatural love of money, and a soft spot for Alec and children. She and Alec share the common bond of both being raised by foster parents.

Of the shows that were on, this is the only one I made it a point to be home to watch. I could not wait for the next show to be on. In 2014, ION aired the show several hours on Sunday and I didn’t care how many times I may have seen it before, I still watched them again.
I know. the bosses for TV are always stabbing us in the back
I have read the responses and have also watched the 2014 reruns and the finale. I really wish is was brought back. I loved the show and all the players. They fit like a glove. If is see a rerun I dvr it if its in the middle of the night which it usually is.
This one show I could watch over and over again. I just do not understand WHY it was cancelled.

I realy liked Leverage, please bring it back. Who ever canceled this great entertaning show should be TARD and FEATHERED!!!
I miss Leverage so much It was brilliant. Timothy Hutton the best. Please bring it back. Even the reruns I had been watching on ION are not on anymore. Please tell me if they are at least bringing back the reruns.

This is a great show/story line. I can relate to how so many of us have been wronged by Large companies and this show makes me feel good knowing that they were able to help others. Yeah I now it’s a TV show with made up story lines but Geeze I can see how they actually could hold some truth. I hope they will bring this back. So much better than the programs on the air now

One the very best t.v. shows made in a long time.It was smart,funny and heartwarming. I also thought it had one of the best group of characters and actors period.There are many shows that should be canceled but this is not one of them!!

It is really amazing that so many of the shows on TV are so shallow and mindless. This was a show that was entertaining, interesting and fun to watch. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!! I don’t think shows are picked by or for anyone who likes anything intelligent what so ever. Heaven forbid there be an interesting storyline!

There is a lot about TV I don’t understand. One thing they don’t even count most of us for what is watched.Only certain areas such as NY, LA.. Large midwest states. what are we chopped liver,gag

Just think, how often does perfect casting happen ? these 4 people fit together like the perfect pieces of a puzzle. There are so many shows I can not get into because of casting. Great story line and action ,what the heck is wrong with everybody ! People watch all that lame brain garbage ,you know the ones I’m talking about, and real talent in acting and writeing gets canned. Should have been renewed,loved it. Look at all the garbage that is put out for us to watch. For goodness sake, Leverage stimulates. the brain, We are not all zombies. .

I totally agree Shelly. This was really one of the “better” programs on TV. It was not nonsense and had a point as well as a direction. Much like MASH, one of the best TV programs on the air.

My whole family loves the show. We know by heart all 77 episodes.
We really wish there were more. The series should never have been cancelled.

leverage is excellent entertainment, how about teaming up with another great series, Monk.
They need to bring Leverage back and continue it. It was such a different type of series and so unique and full of action. NOT the run-of-the-mill cop and court series that we keep having with cops strong arming the citizens and bresaking into their houses and acting like God – sick of that.. Leverage gave us a new view and type of story and they kept it interesting – never knew what woudld happen next. Leverage meets Monk in both series the characters help the unfortunate how about a come back series utilizing both themes I think it would be a winner.
