CBS has cancelled its Scorpion TV show after four seasons. The season, which began with a musical episode, weill be this series’ swan song.
A CBS action drama, Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter. Inspired by a real-life computer expert, the series centers on Walter O’Brien (Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits. Team Scorpion is the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats.
Scorpion: A Look at the Ratings
The fourth season of Scorpion is averaging a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.26 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by about 32% and down by 27%, respectively. By both measures, Scorpion is consistently among the lowest rated scripted CBS TV shows.
All told, today CBS cancelled two TV shows: Superior Donuts and Scorpion. The network also renewed five series: Criminal Minds (season 14); Man With a Plan (season three); Life in Pieces (season four); Instinct (season two); and Big Brother: Celebrity Edition (season two).
UPDATE: CBS has cancelled Kevin Can Wait and has renewed Elementary for season seven.
Deadline has confirmed the Scorpion cancellation.

I’ve seen some clips of this show in FB and instantly got hooked! I am now watching the 3rd season and I feel sad as I watch further episodes leading to its end in season 4. Pls bring this show back!!! I’d love to see more of Waige, Quintis and the rest of Team Scorpion!
2022. I started watching Scorpion when I saw its short-clips on FB weeks ago. It is a very interesting show so I watched it tho I already knew it will end in a cliffhanger, I still chose to take the risk. I just reached the finale today and I gotta say, IT MUST CONTINUE TO AIR. I KNOW I’M TOO LATE BUT I’M STILL HOPING FOR THAT TINY CHANCE. GODSPEED TO US, FANS.
Bring Scorpion back as TV movies, please.
Hi so I’ve recently started watching Scorpion I binged watched it and am now on S4 Ep9 if I’m to be honest. I’m scared of finishing it as I’m aware it lands on a cliff hanger. It was a TV show that I felt like they were family. And it has a special place in my heart. I’m trying not to cry right now but we need a closure. Bring Scorpion Back, Please, Make a Season 5 or make few episodes
Yeah said it had crapy ratings but I’ve seen worse since then stupidly go on and get stupider by the min but let’s keep stupid and drop low ratings
I have every episode on DVR still and watch marathons every weekend in POP TV. It was a good show and deserved at least a final season for closure. That was a serious cliffhanger. Bring it back… please?
I think the series gives misfit intellectual individuals a means to express their own worth. It is truly inspiring and with bulling be a high stake in the youth generation. Scorpion is by far a show I would love to see return
