There won’t be a second season for this “coming of rage” series. The Imperfects has been cancelled by Netflix.
A sci-fi series created by Dennis Heaton and Shelley Eriksen, The Imperfects TV show stars Italia Ricci, Iñaki Godoy, Morgan Taylor Campbell, Rhianna Jagpal, and Rhys Nicholson. In the story, three twenty-somethings from Seattle — scientist Abbi (Jagpal), comic artist Juan (Godoy), and singer Tilda (Campbell) — were turned into monsters against their will by evil scientists. Now, they’re on the hunt for the responsible madman, Dr. Alex Sarkov (Nicholson), in hopes of reversing the side effects. They’re joined on their quest by scientist Dr. Sydney Burke (Ricci).
The Imperfects launched on September 8th with 10 episodes. It debuted at third place on Netflix’s Weekly Top 10 for English-language series. The drama spent a total of three weeks on the list, but the streamer apparently wanted more since the show has been cancelled. Renewal decisions are said to be based on balancing production costs with viewership.

again Netflix cancelled a show leaving a cliff hanger if you’re going to end a show at least plan an end to wrap up the storyline, don’t just leave us hanging. it’s not really good for business

So ticked right now. I would never have watched S1, had I known S2 was not in the future. So wrong of Netflix to do this, as the story lines have all been left open ended. Boo and 5 thumbs down to Netflix.

Once again, Netflix is canceling a great show. What is the point of becoming invested in your shows, if you’re just going to turn around and cancel them?
This is stupid. I don’t understand why they’re canceling this show. It was great and they left one heck of an opener for another season. I would have mentioned this to quite a few of my friends that also would have liked this show. But now I won’t say a thing to them Because why? It ended after one season. It’ll make them just as mad as I am. I’ve seen wayless interesting Shows get multiple seasons but good ones get shelved. It seems most people are just coming to the conclusion. The worst thing is that they left an extremely wide opening, leaving one to assume that there definitely will be a second season. They would still be better off pursuing the good shows they make until they hit standstills with them, because it doesn’t deter them from being able to produce other shows. In fact dropping things so fast is going to help them run out of ideas faster, or make it so they have to come around and revisit/remake the same ideas/shows just to keep up with themselves.
This is so stupid this is why I don’t watch Netflix anymore bc they make great shows then leave it on a cliffhanger just about to delete Netflix especially when they do this
This sucks!! Why cancel a good show without finishing it? I hate when Netflix does this! Can’t stand watching the TV shows on Netflix because a lot of them are not complete.

So sick and tired of good shows getting canceled when left on a cliff hanger. At least come back and finish the show! This keeps happening and you wonder why people don’t watch your shows! Duh! We don’t want to get attached to something that is never finished.
