CSI: Vegas will not have Jorja Fox as a part of its cast for season two after all. Fox had originally planned to return in some capacity for the second season of the CBS series, but she has since changed her mind. Her onscreen partner, William Petersen, only signed on for the first season of the revival.

Starring Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mandeep Dhillon, Mel Rodriguez, and Wallace Langham, the series is a reboot of the popular CSI franchise. Petersen and Fox (above) appeared to help launch the series, and viewers could potentially see other familiar faces appear in season two.
Jason Tracey said the following about the future of CSI: Vegas per TV Line:
“I’d be like a kid in a candy store if I got a Season 2, to kind of ‘go shopping’ and hopefully tap in some familiar faces.”
What do you think? Are you sad that Fox will not return for CSI: Vegas season two? Do you plan to watch the CBS series with the remaining cast?
Too bad. Perhaps both could return occasionally or some of the others in the old cast. I loved both. The new group are no slouches either.
Now it’s just another CSI show. Those two should be together and so I aplaude Jorja Fox for her decision. Those of us that watched the original CSI and watched these two characters evolve can understand her sentiment. Those who like the new version, enjoy.

I was sure CSI: VEGAS was back to stay but sadly it looks like it is not to be ???? I SURE HOPE THEY CHANGE THEIR MINDS AND PUT IT ON THE AIR FOREVER ??? WELL ONE CAN HOPE RIGHT ???????
I never cared for her character. And Grissom isn’t in my favorites. Would love to have the Nick Stokes character back.
Didn’t he take the job as CSI boss in San Diego?
I saw this coming with William Petersen not being a part of it.
I am not tuning in again, it’ll be dull without them.
No Bull as well, lots of free time coming.
It must be this Covid Mandate that is causing actors to quit.
I am not going anywhere I have to prove my status. It’s their loss.
Lockdown has allowed many to reevaluate their lives and to take another path.
Social mixing is so overrated.
I respect Jorja’s decision. Her love of Sara and the years she gave us this character is appreciated. Amazing ride. Sara and Gil belong together. CSI isn’t CSI without them. I won’t watch CSI Vegas without Jorja and Billy. .

Sorry to hear Jorja Fox has decided not to return. I always enjoyed her character on the show. I will continue to watch the show, until it ends.
It was very special to have Grissom and Sara back together again and when Peterson decided to not return I was mad. It’s not as if the part was constantly on. Most of us turned on just to see these 2 characters again. I like all of the new characters except for Mandeep Dhillon, who is very annoying. Don’t know if I’ll continue to watch.

They were the hook for the shows return. Now we wait & see if those who remain can carry the show’s legacy forward? Not sure how it will all play out.
That really upsets me. Jorja helps make that show. She will be missed.
