What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, the Tommy TV show stars Edie Falco, Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, Thomas Sadoski, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Joseph Lyle Taylor, and Vladimir Caamaño. The series revolves around a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Abigail “Tommy” Thomas (Falco) uses unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political, and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland.

I love this show i am disapointed it was canceled
Tommy deserves a second season. It portrayed a strong woman In law enforcement who was not without her own personal issues. The characters in the show were well developed and the backstories intriguing. The weekly plot lines definitely held one’s attention. CBS needs to reconsider their poor decision.
I am so tired of CBS cancelling really good shows. It’s becoming a regular thing and it sucks.
Please bring show back it’s a great show
I am very disappointed that there will not be a season 2 of Tommy. I loved the honest approach to so many of the social and legal issues that can occur in our country.
Please bring back this show give it anothet chance. Coming from a Law Enforcement family it’s a great show and also great learning experience of what it’s like on both sides…and its just great and real. Finally no drama and they cancel a good show
My husband and I liked Tommy. We looked forward to watching it every week. Edie Falco is always good. Sometimes shows need to be on a while for viewers to discover it. I don’t think it was given a fair chance. I am really disappointed.
I thought this show had promise…initially….and I think Eddie Falco is a brilliant actress, but the writers in their infinite wisdom or stupidity to make her “relevant” in today’s world decided, hey we’ll make her a woman police chief of a major city – Los Angeles (that would be great but I don’t see that happening any time soon)… oh and she’s also divorced; was in a bi-racial marriage, and she’s a lesbian. It is too bad that when CBS does get a decent show they cut it down. With the pandemic and all going on I would assume that any tv shows viewership is going to go down. Give it one more year and put some hard drama in it.

Please bring back Tommy! We lost Madam Secretary and this is an amazing show as it lets all social issues be brought up. We need strong leads and HELLO Edie Falco! A smart female Chief of Police in a big city, who also happens to be gay. You have story after story of strength. Apparently all the FBI shows which I haven’t liked, or Bull for example that I don’t like was moved around in time slots until they got what they wanted. and you moved FBI it around in a different slot. This is so disheartening. Tommy is an amazing show. It has issues we need to see and show women in a light showing we are as good as any man. So a female gay chief it perfect and tackles social issues and there is do much more to be done. You put this show in a horrible time slot. Try a new slot instead of cancellation. Much like ‘Chicago Code’ starring Jennifer Beals, Tommy did not stand a chance succeeding due to poor decision making by the network.
Tommy was a great show. Disappointed to see it’s been cancelled. I watched it EVERY week and was looking forward to next season.
I hope another station picks it up! It’s a good show!
