NBC started airing Transplant in Fall 2020 due to its own series being delayed by the pandemic. The drama has already been renewed for a third season in Canada and Transplant costs less for the peacock network to air than its regular shows. Will the show continue to have a home in the United States, or will it be cancelled? Stay tuned. *Status Update Below.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
7/17 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: Season one of Transplant on NBC averaged a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.50 million viewers in the live+same day ratings.
Note: These are the final national ratings, including all live+same day viewing and DVR playback (through 3:00 AM). Early fast affiliate ratings (estimates) are indicated with an “*”. While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. There can be other economic factors involved in a show’s fate, but the higher-rated series are typically renewed and the lower-rated ones are cancelled.
What do you think? Do you like the Transplant TV series on NBC? Should it be cancelled or picked up for a third season on NBC?
*5/12/23 update: Transplant has been renewed for two more seasons on NBC.
Fantastic show, which feels underappreciated by the network. Keep it going!
I agree with Rob’s 7/4 comment. This is a fascinating show with lots of interesting medical experiences. Please keep it on the air!
Obviously a highly intelligent woman with impeccable taste!
I know the ratings aren’t great, but this show has heart and a meaningful message, so I hope it hangs around for awhile.
I really like this storyline. I love the characters too. However, this season I never knew when it was on. The date and time changed more than once.
I would like to see a network step up and have the courage to stick with a show with low viewership and give it a chance to succeed. Once people watch this show, they will be hooked!
One of the more interesting medical shows on normal tv. There is a sense of everyday people doing their job. Also gives a different perspective on health and medicine, than what is American. Enjoy this show a lot. Would hope NBC would look at the numbers on IMDB, and Google. Not everyone can watch when the show is actually aired. Myself included.
Please don’t cancel this show!! I waited for season 2 and season 3 is just a good! I love it!
Episode 10, on last night against Stanley Cup Game 2 & UFC Fight Night, gets highest “Viewers (millions)” of the season. Nice. Congrats.
NBC takes this show off for weeks, then move it do a different day, than take it back off for weeks.
It seems like NBC is sabotaging this show.
Love the show Transplant. Please keep it on the air
I love this show, and I’m in the USA. Sure hope NBC gives us season three!
Gone for a month. Switches nights. Banished to lowly Saturday nights for burnoff.
And episode 8 still maintains “Viewers (millions)”. I am in utter disbelief.
Not airing season 2 for like 2 years, and than take off who knows how long before the next episode.
Doing no advertising for season 2.
Seems like NBC is not even promoting this show to help it.
Agree…so tired of all the ‘talent shows’ full of amateurs…give us good drama….and give us a season three!
Also tired of the fake “reality” shows.
The viewers in America must be Canadians. Anything foreign is ignored as not “Make America Great Again”
Another solid show ignored by the American viewing public. You think there’s too much garbage on TV? We get what we deserve.
This is not a memorable timeslot. It’s been on twice and I missed it the second time
