CBS has cancelled its Scorpion TV show after four seasons. The season, which began with a musical episode, weill be this series’ swan song.
A CBS action drama, Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter. Inspired by a real-life computer expert, the series centers on Walter O’Brien (Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits. Team Scorpion is the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats.
Scorpion: A Look at the Ratings
The fourth season of Scorpion is averaging a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.26 million viewers. Compared to season three, that’s down by about 32% and down by 27%, respectively. By both measures, Scorpion is consistently among the lowest rated scripted CBS TV shows.
All told, today CBS cancelled two TV shows: Superior Donuts and Scorpion. The network also renewed five series: Criminal Minds (season 14); Man With a Plan (season three); Life in Pieces (season four); Instinct (season two); and Big Brother: Celebrity Edition (season two).
UPDATE: CBS has cancelled Kevin Can Wait and has renewed Elementary for season seven.

Walter And Paige belong together. The last episode stinks as an ending to their love story. Should have been another season to fix that.
Have been watching this show for 4 years, as have millions of others, and to end it on such a confusing and ridiculous note, is truly a disservice to faithful fans! Renew it for at least one final season, and end it in a respectable way!
Please renew! Left on such a downer… I’m with so many of the others, I hardly ever watch “reality” shows (same old, same old stuff). Enjoyed this group of personalities showing that being intelligent is not a bad thing!
Please renew scorpion , for at least 1 season. It has ended up so abruptly. Though the viewers has decreased but still there are still millions of viewers! Pleasr for our sake ,one last season!! End it in another way. We love so much team scorpion. Please please!!

Mindless Zombies LOVE reality shows, America is becoming the land of the STUPID. Can’t have a show on TV that takes more than a 5th grade education [look at Newspapers when they were still around] Of COURSE they would cancel a show that is smart and funny. Ad execs and TV execs always will go for the tramps and prostitutes of TV [Reality and Sports].
It is an important show on so many levels. Intelligence used for good, not evil, as one example. Bring it back and finish things up!
Please renew the show. It is showing children how STEM is useful in the world.

PLEASE RENEW SCORPION. I do not watch reality shows or football. I love dramas and love the chemistry of the Scorpion cast.
I am not entertained by deep dark shows like Criminal Minds. How many serial killers can they actually profile? I enjoyed Numb3rs and Person of Interest too.
I find it difficult to find shows to watch because most are just mindless dribble.

If you went to at lease the fifth season I bet you would’ve been surprised on how Well the show does in syndication you could’ve easily have made up the money and given them a happy ending over 16 episodes, sometimes the bottom line is not the best way to go when you’re not even looking at the bottom line correctly, but then again most TV execs have the head in the wrong place.
I really looked forward to watching this show. The characters were entertaining to watch and it was fun to watch them work as a team and use all of their strengths to overcome each episodes issues. I am not a football fan or in your age demographic…but I am a tv viewer and I can not watch so called reality tv or dumb shows that don’t make you think or engage you. I agree with the other comments as far as at least ending things a little cleaner and giving us our happy ending.

cannot believe they would cancel such a good show. what’s worse is that you couldn’t give us all a happy ending if you were going to cancel at least have a finale of wrapping up everybody’s lives.. finally get to start watching something worthwhile on Monday nights and now it’s gone. what the heck am I going to start watching next it sure in the heck ain’t going to be Monday Night Football. Please think things through for the fans.
