How are you dealing with the end of Timeless? Creator Eric Kripke, stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, and more have reacted to NBC’s decision to cancel the TV show.
As reported earlier, the network has cancelled the time travel drama after two seasons. The series follows the unexpected team of a history professor (Abigail Spencer), a soldier (Matt Lanter), and a scientist (Malcolm Barrett) as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime to stop a mysterious villain. The cast also includes Goran Visnjic, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit.
On Twitter, Kripke, Spencer, Lanter, and more posted their thoughts on NBC‘s cancellation of Timeless:

I think it REALLY STINKS that NBC cancelled this terrific show! We now have nothing at all to watch about time travel on TV! Ugh! NBC should get a life and consider what the fans and viewers want to see! Besides, nobody ever asked ME about this!! My family and I will be boycotting everything NBC including each and every one of their advertising sponsors!

I was so hoping for another season. I’m so disappointed! Loved the show! But I really hope they come through with the 2 hour movie final.

Thanks for introducing us to history we may not have known about, refreshing our memories on history we did know about and enhancing the details. The cast was stellar, always fun to look forward to. The settings, costumes, and writing were well thought out and acted. Sorry for not getting another season but will look forward to a movie.
Well NBC you just lost this viewer, no matter what you put on your network I will not watch anything else, Timeless was the best show you had on and you killed it, I really feel sorry for all the Timeless fans, actors and actresses

I think it’s a crime that they cancel a great show like Timeless & keep crap like The Bachelorette, etc.on the air. I hope they allow a 2-hour movie to tie up the story lines. Great show. What a shame. Guess I’ll buy more classic series on DVD to watch. Broadcast TV sucks!

And the networks wonder why people are resorting to watching networks we pay to watch! Because you keep canceling the great shows. But don’t stop now, keep putting on those stupid reality shows because you don’t have to pay the actors on those. Cheaper for you, but baby boomers are getting tired of it!

it was time. wanted to like this. i really did. it just wasn’t that good. what really hurt it for me was the cult angle of the story line. good actors wish them the best.

Sadness doesn’t come close to how I feel about NBC canceling Timeless!! What is wrong with networks that think rebooting old shows is preferable to this amazingly entertaining, educational show with an extremely talented cast? Please #save Timeless!!
I really like Timeless. I am really bummed that NBC canceled the show. I would like to see the series continued or the two hour movie that was mentioned!
This is so depressing. Cancelling such a great show is really sad. Brilliant writing, strong stories and wonderful actors isn’t enough to save the best show on television. Maybe NBC will fill the timeslot with another pseudo reality show about mindless crap.
I really hope another outlet will pick it up.
