Ozark aired its third season on Netflix last month, and the drama saw a huge increase in viewership from season two’s numbers. That is likely due to the number of people staying home due the coronavirus stay at home order in place.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed the following about the Ozark viewership on Netflix:
“The drama series averaged 8.7 million viewers over the 10 days after its March 27 premiere on the streamer. That’s a 74 percent increase compared with the average audience for the show’s second season, which was 5 million over its first 10 days in August 2018.”
On its premiere day, the series had almost 1 million viewers alone.

Best series on TV, no question !! Jason Bateman is fantastic and the whole cast is excellent. Difficult not to binge watch this show. Season 4 can’t come soon enough !!
Such a great cast all around. We loved Season 3 though my husband came down quite hard on Laura Linney mucking things up. We need a few more seasons before it all falls apart.

I am so hooked!! I watched the 1st show in season 1 and could NOT stop watching!!! I love the entire cast , the plot gets better and better. I am so upset it’s over now, I just finished the last episode of season 3! I can’t wait for season 4 and more!! They can not cancel this show!!
Ozark season three was one of the best season for any series. Could go on to be the best of them all. The Byrde family could be the best family on tv ever

I have everyone appreciates what Jason Bateman is doing with this. He is the producer, director and star, yet he keeps his character so understated. Every season he lets the others have the spotlight with their storylines and behavior. Most stars would insist that it was all about them.
I watched Season 3 because I love the show, not because I’m home during a pandemic. The show is EXCELLENT. I thought Season 3 was the best of all three and I can’t wait till there’s another season (or more). MUST WATCH TV!
