Blue Bloods will not be saved from cancellation. Last year, CBS announced that season 14 would be the end for the long-running series, and the season would be broken into two parts. The first part is currently airing, and the second half of season 14 will air in the fall.
Starring Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, and Vanessa Ray, the long-running Blue Bloods series follows a family of law enforcement officers living in New York City.
Selleck spoke out about the show’s cancellation ahead of its season 14 premiere, and he revealed that he and others in the cast of the drama were not happy with the decision.
Could the show get a reprieve, as has happened to fellow Friday night occupant SWAT? Unfortunately, no.
CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said the following about the decision to cancel the show, per Deadline:
“We love this cast, we love their passion for the show. All shows have to come to an end. It’s important to us to refresh the schedule. We are going to end the show come December.”

How odd that a show that depicts strong family values, a Christian faith and a generally conservative viewpoint is being cancelled by CBS….makes you wonder why…
I agree.. very sad to see this show gone, I have watched everyone including many repeats.. they are just that good! 🙂 Love the show wish it could stay, if they are all just tired, understandable.. otherwise, if they are being made to give it up, NO! lets keep our family cop show on! 🙂 Love all of the characters. 🙂
The good shows always get cancelled and Blue Bloods is written about a family that we all feel proud of and can relate. The state of political affairs as they currently exist in the Reality New York make it difficult to write about but Blue Blood actors could pull it off. Bad decision to take it away CBS.
Reading all the comments, I cannot agree more. Blue Bloods is the best show on network television. Hollywood squares with Drew Barrymore is a lot less money to produce. No offense to Drew Barrymore, but Blue Bloods is a great drama and also realistic to most police. Save this show!

Canceling Blue Bloods is a huge mistake! CBS, you really need to reconsider this decision! Blue Bloods is one of the best shows you’ve ever produced and there’s still a lot of life left in this series!

CBS is making a very huge mistake taking Blue Bloods off the air! Reconsider and bring it back! The best show, the best cast, and the best family values! These values need to be aired, especially now!
What show is going to replace it? Whatever it is, I refuse to watch it. I can’t believe you are cancelling one of your most watched and beloved shows. Both the viewing audience and the cast are so against this. I think whoever made this decision has lost their mind.

CBS we know why you are canceling Blue Bloods. It’s basically the only show that does not cater to the woke agenda. It is about family unity, staying strong during adversity, doing the right thing even when it’s hard. We can’t have that on TV anymore, Heaven forbid. I do hope another channel or streaming app will pick it up! This was my last remaining must watch show on the alphabet networks. When BB ends I’m done with them. They don’t care about their viewers. I am upset that Blue Bloods is being cancelled. Why??? That show is one of the best shows on TV today. If the actors are also upset, why the cancelation??? CBS dies not know their audience. Shame on them!
CBS sucks. The new Matlock looks horrible. The FBIs are all the same show. Three or four NCIS are not necessary. Blue Bloods is the best show on network tv. CBS knows their audience trends older and will watch whatever they broadcast.
Blue Bloods is a great show. The fans want it to continue and so does the cast. Yes everything has to end, but this is not the correct time. If something needs canceled, it should be the CBS Director’s contract.
