God Friended Me was recently cancelled by CBS, and now the cast is reacting to the move by the network. Brandon Michael Hall, Violett Beane and others on the cast spoke about the series ending on social media.
Per TV Line, Hall revealed the following about the cancellation of God Friended Me:
“There’s something to be said for an artist to be able to wake up every single day and work with a group of people who you can honestly call your family. The hardest thing is knowing I’m not going to be able to… work with them [every day].”

I just found out about the cancellation & I’m really upset about it. I love this show. Isn’t there any way to keep it on? I watch it every week, if not on Sunday I watch it on demand. I hate not being able to see it after the 26th. Please rethink your decision.
I was wondering if the producers of CBS read these comments, to show the amount of people upset due to the cancellation of this great family Show
loved this show, some what surprised at it being cancelled especially if it is averaging over 6 million viewers.
When are TV companies going to realise they are losing viewers due to the amount of TV series that they are cancelling.
I know i am fed up getting into a good tv series only for it to be cancelled.
I am told about supposedly good tv series out there, but i refuse to watch them as i cant be bothered watching in case it gets cancelled.
Final straw I will focus more on watching movies as they have endings

I am so sad to see God Friended Me canceling. I really enjoyed watching the show. Just shows how a little bit of kindness will help someone else. Another good show gone.
Upset that God Friended me has been cancelled not surprised though. Anything positive and uplifting is not appealing anymore. People want to see lame shows like the bachelor.
They want to see sex and violence so not surprised.
I have to say though I was not happy with the back and forth of Miles and Cara’s relationship I think that might be part of the reason of the lack of viewership. I will miss the show it had a wonderful cast.

I agree with ALL the comments regarding the HUGE mistake CBS has made in deciding to cancel this most spiritually uplifting program … SO NEEDED in times like this!!!!! Is this all because of the current situation making it difficult to get the actors and crew members together? Hey, we can all wait! Really! I looked forward to this show every week. It was interesting, positive and a great cast. Why is it that networks can’t support a show like this but have multiple lame realty shows. I am so disappointed.
Im beyond upset and angry. It’s a great, fantastic, family friendly and interesting tv show. The way all the god friend accounts somehow all intertwined was cool. I guess if tv didn’t consist of zombies, superheroes, killing it gets renewed but shows like this get cxl. CBS SUCKS
In a stressful time in the world today, it is NO time to be cancelling God friended Me. You should be having a huge AD campaign because this program is positive. Think again what is really needed.
I so looked forward to Sunday’s to watch my favorite show GOD friended me! This show had a story everytime. It was a positive show that had great ❤ Heart. To me this is ANOTHER HUGE MISTAKE by cbs. After the cancelation of the Good Wife i said never again. The good fight because i will not pay more for programming especially with the high price of cable television. I’m very hurt and disappointed that this show is being cancelled, I looked forward to this show every week. I think it was a poor decision to cancel it especially only after 2 seasons. I’m hoping that another channel will pick it up.

One of the shows. Each episode made you feel good and gave you a sense of hope which is needed today. Bad decision in cancelling this show.
