Magnum PI is making an addition to its cast for its third season. Jay Ali, from Daredevil, is joining the cast as a love interest for Higgins, who is played by Perdita Weeks. Fans will see his character appear in the third season premiere.
TV Insider revealed the following about Ali’s role on the CBS reboot series:
“Ali plays Dr. Ethan Shah, whom Higgins meets when she’s injured. After the charming and confident surgeon at Kings Medical Hospital operates on her and she’s no longer his patient, he asks her out to dinner.”
The cast of Magnum PI also includes Jay Hernandez, Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill, Tim Kang, and Amy Hill. Production on season three of the series began in September, but a premiere date has not yet been set.

Magnum PI is my favorite show on TV. Please have Magnum and Higgins become a couple. They do have great chemistry and make a great couple. I would be very disappointed with any other love interests for Magnum or Higgins. They belong together.

Magnum P.I. make me fill back in hawaii. Missed it terribly, is the only show that I love. The chemitry of this cast is awesome,Like Hawaii 5.0 another show that also love. I hope is back soon.

Can’t wait for Magnum to return. Grew up with original series but enjoy the new versions characters much more. Perfect series.

I, Like many on here Agree, Would rather Wait and Have Higgins and Magnum get together as a Couple.. They have Great Chemistry On the Show in that way. The entire Cast Have a Wonderful Chemistry.

Keep show going. The Higgie side show mixed feelings on that. She’s all peaches & cream so maybe not trying for the Moonlighting battles wouldn’t work. This does keep it from becoming too stale what with all the stuff about being forced back to U.K. Now really who didn’t figure they won’t cut a lead. Maybe season 5+ might see someone dump out for promise of ‘big screen things’, otherwise they are in for the ride & excess goodies @season 5.
She’ll get to be out from big boy shadow thing for while. Then let them begin again.
