Things were fairly status quo at the alphabet network though there were a handful of fairly significant gains and losses. America’s Funniest Home Videos was up by 25% while Wipeout, Happy Endings and the Dancing with the Stars results show all had big drops.
Which ABC TV series will be renewed or cancelled depends mostly on the show’s ratings, particularly the 18-49 demographic. Week-to-Week Gains: 20/20: A Modern Fairytale 1.6/5 (+14.3% compared to Thurs), America’s Funniest Home Videos 2.0/7 (+25.0%), Extreme Makeover: Home Edition 2.3/6 (+4.5%), The Middle 2.0/6 (+5.3%), Better with You 1.6/5 (+6.7%), Modern Family 3.9/10 (+2.6%), Cougar Town 2.2/6 (+4.8%), and Private Practice 2.3/6 (+4.5%).
