Remember on Bewitched when Dick York, the actor playing Samantha’s husband, was replaced by Dick Sargent? Well, the same thing’s about to happen to another Sam according to EW, this time on ABC’s Samantha Who? sitcom. Apparently Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) is so busy working on FX’s Damages that he’s not available to reprise his role as Christina Applegate’s ex-boyfriend, Funk. As a result, they’re recasting the role with Billy Zane (Twin Peaks). Geez, don’t you think that’s messing with poor Samantha’s noggin a bit too much?

William H. Macy (Sports Night) is returning to ER in the February 5th episode. He’ll be reprising his Emmy-nominated role as Dr. David Morgenstern which he first played in 1994. Macy’s played the role in over two dozen episodes.
