ABC’s Splash finished its first season several weeks ago and the network hasn’t announced if the diving competition will be back for a second season. Was it a ratings success or will be cancelled instead?
Splash debuted in March to a healthy 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.02 million viewers. Unfortunately, subsequent episodes didn’t do nearly as well. The show lost more than 25% of its audience in week two, another 14% in week three, and another 9% in week four. And the numbers kept falling.
