The Tudors dollsAre you missing Showtime’s series about the reign of King Henry VIII of England, The Tudors? Well, the show’s not coming back but if you’re still upset about the show’s passing, you can recreate episodes or bring your own stories to life via a collection of dolls.

The new line of dolls by Madame Alexander are inspired by The Tudors. Miniature versions of King Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyer) and his queens — Katherine of Aragon (Maria Doyle Kennedy), Anne Boleyn (Natalie Dormer), Jane Seymour (Annabelle Wallis), Katherine Parr (Joely Richardson), Anne of Cleves (Joss Stone), and Katherine Howard (Tamzin Merchant) — will be released over the next year and are clothed in replicas of the series’ amazing costumes.

The Tudors

This historical and fictional series focuses on the early period of King Henry VIII's reign which tests him both personally and politically. King Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is the young and ambitious monarch of England and is contemplating declaring war on France after the assassination of his uncle. On the advice of his Lord Chancellor, Cardinal Thomas Wolsey (Sam Neill), the King decides against this course of action. Instead, Wolsey proposes that Henry should endorse a "Treaty of Universal Peace" which is meant to bring peace and harmony to Europe.
