Bradley Whitford (Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) is returning to NBC for his third TV series on the peacock network. This time around, the Emmy winner will both star in and produce a single-camera comedy called Off Duty. In the series pilot, Whitford will play a formerly legendary police detective who ends up causing problems for his new partner, played by Romany Malco (Weeds).
