The CW network recently gave Sunday nights back to the local stations to program on their own so they’re in need of additional programming. ABC Studios’ syndicated Legend of the Seeker has been a success with affiliates and there was talk about possibly offering Reaper and Seeker as a package deal.

The CW was the last to announce their new schedule for the 2009 - 2010 season. The network targets the desirable young female demographic but has been having a hard time attracting many viewers at all -- at least when you compare them to the four major networks. For next season, they've renewed 90210, America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Smallville, and Supernatural. Next season, you'll be able to see The Beautiful Life, Parental Discretion Advised, The Vampire Diaries, and a new version of Melrose Place. The shows you won't be seeing back next season include 4Real, 13: Fear Is Real, Easy Money, Everybody Hates Chris, The Game, In Harm's Way, Privileged, Reaper, Stylista, and Valentine.
