It’s a sad day when our favorite TV shows get cancelled but the actors and actresses who populate those TV shows often end up on other programs. It’s what we like to call “cancelled casting.” Here’s where you’ll be able to find a bunch of TV show veterans:
Alias co-star Kevin Weisman will have a recurring role in NBC’s new Awake series. He’ll play a mysterious character called Mr. Blonde who haunts Detective Britton (Jason Isaacs) in both of his parallel worlds. The character apparently has information about the car accident that changed Britton’s life. Awake will debut sometime in the spring.
Beatrice “Bebe” Neuwirth, the actress who played Doctor Frasier Crane’s ex-wife Lilith, is coming to The Good Wife in a recurring role. On the CBS drama, Neuwirth will play Judge Friend, “a sexy woman with a stern manner and little patience for joking around.” No word on when she’ll first appear.
