This may be bad news for long-suffering Kenny but it’s a whole lot of good news for fans of South Park. Comedy Central has just announced that they’re renewing the venerable animated series for three more seasons.
Just four months ago, the show was renewed through 2013 and now we know that Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman, and the rest will be around for a total 20 seasons, through the year 2016.
Some fans were concerned that South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were getting ready to move on — especially in light of their success with their Broadway hit, The Book of Mormon. But, it seems nothing could be further from the truth.
